Finally, I have a setup that performs and sounds great.

Video: ATI Mobility 32MB Radeon 7500C

Multimedia:  Samsung CD-RW/DVD

Sound: Creative Labs MX-5021 THX Certified (Review sites keeping changing, but in a nutshell they are crisp, good kick from the sub)

Input: Wireless Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse

Monitors:  Dual when home, running off a 22" LG Wide Flatron 1400x1050

Networking:   

   Cable Connection , 6Mbps down, 384Kbps up (Tested 2/13/08 at 2.9Mbps down/1.4Mbps up)
    Dell True Mobile 1300 WLAN Wireless 
    Linksys Router/Firewall
    Cisco 54G Wireless access point (Secured)
    Cisco 5 port Workgroup switch
