Welcome to my new hobby... GOLF.
I'm now a member at Colonial Country Club and am enjoying both golf and tennis there. I just bought some new Taylor Made Tour Burner irons and have been hitting my TM-R7-425 with pro launch shaft quite well. It has won me 4 longest drive awards thus far. I now hit a TM Burner 3 & 5 wood, and do well with the Rescue 5 wood also. Completing the set is my Odyssey White Hot Tour Putter (pic below), which looks sharp and works well for me. I get a lot of comments on my unique Lobster head cover, as Maine stays with me wherever I play. I've switched to the Nike One golf ball and am a big fan of the BRUSH tee! -yes, it's USGA/PGA approved. Thanks to my parents, teaching pros, and some co-workers for their time, patience and advice... and may you par when I birdie. Click this link to the U.S.G.A. and join as I did. You'll receive some nifty items and support a fine organization. |

Notable
moments in my world of golf: While awaiting a friend in the dining
room of a country club, my friend, who shall remain nameless was in the
bathroom, and while on the throne, a golf ball fell out of her pocket,
bounced into the next stall and into the commode. I told her to report it as
a hole in one for the 19th hole?! Almost getting hit by my uncle as I moved
the cart to the right a good distance from him, and he hit the ball into my

This image reflects how men think it should be
played and we know some women will do anything to make us lose our focus. It's all about focus and recovery, right?
Sometimes though, they're nice enough to point
things out for us.
