Well, after some precipitation this week, the creek had actually DOUBLED it's height... making for a faster trip, and perhaps lessening the worry at the Indian Creek Bridge. We had a few last minute cancellations, but still had a great group which consisted of Hal and Paul, Charlie, Deb, Bob, Rachel and Brian. Even with a canoe along the way, it only 3.5hrs including lunch! Water was ~5', 52degrees and the weather was gray but held for us. Much of the larger water fowl were somewhere else, but we had the usual ducks and geese squawking along the way along with some good humor and company to make for another nice outing.
Bob found a nice toy truck, Hal and Paul had an act in their canoe that rivaled the Muppets Statler and Waldorf, Charlie was our depth gauge at lunch..."sorry Charlie". (I might have to pass along my depth finder award for that maneuver). Deb kept with the flow and Rachel kept things in-line up front while I followed up in back and kept the canoe duo rolling.
Enjoy the pics below, and hopefully we'll see YOU on the next run.
